Maigan is a three-time Canadian Champion stepdancer. Stepdancing is a very high energy dance and is performed with shoes using double taps. Maigan has won over a hundred contests and has been teaching at the Cooperative Dance School for almost 8 years. Maigan is currently attending Waterloo University in Hon. Science Program. Maigan attended the Judith Coleman School of dance in her younger years where she had training in tap dance, hip hop and jazz. She took stepdance lessons for five years with Linda Waymouth in Ingersoll and continuing with Chanda Gibson in Orangeville for many years. Maigan has performed all over Ontario, the Maritimes, New York and Ireland.
